Metal protection through corrosion inhibitation

The Lubricant Additives segment of Evonik Industries offers with the REWOCOROS^® product range a broad range of multifunctional corrosion inhibitors for the formulation of water-based metal working fluids and water-miscible, non-flammable hydraulic fluids.

They do not only provide metal working fluid formulations with corrosion protection properties, but also offer additional benefits such as excellent co-emulsifying.

We also offer products that are particularly suitable for the processing of aluminium or non-ferrous metals.

Our corrosion inhibitor product range includes

• Boric acid amine blends

• Alkanol amides
• Phosphoric acid esters

In advance to the common test methods like “filter chip test” or the “bimetallic corrosion coupon test” Evonik uses the “Impedance spectroscopy” to evaluate customer needs as well as for the development of new products.
