AMB - International exhibition for metal working

Metal working industry celebrates its comeback: over 86,000 visitors flock to AMB 2010 – Wider catchment area: greater internationality among exhibitors and visitors – AMB maintains its number 1 position among leading international industry exhibitions. The German economy is really taking off at present. This fact also helped to boost AMB 2010, which closed its doors today in Stuttgart after five days. The second Exhibition for Metal Working at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre was in top form: in attracting over 86,000 visitors, AMB 2010 actually managed to slightly exceed the excellent visitor figure from 2008 (85,000), something which could not have been expected after the difficult economic situation in the previous year. It was also pleasing to see a further widening of the visitor catchment area. The proportion of foreign visitors rose from seven to ten per cent. Visitors from more than 80 countries were recorded compared with 55 countries in 2008.
